From America’s earliest days, the right of the American people to keep and bear arms has been recognized as the surest safeguard of liberty. The Founders took it so seriously they enshrined it in the Second Amendment of the Constitution, and we must defend it just as vigorously as we defend the rest of that document.
Congress must stop unconstitutionally restricting individuals’ rights to purchase, transport, or store arms on public lands or on their own private property.
As your Senator, I will work to repeal current federal gun laws that infringe on our Second Amendment freedoms and will fight against new ones.
With our gun rights under constant attack from Washington, D.C. and special interest groups funded by Michael Bloomberg seeking to expand the nanny state rather than trust American citizens, it’s never been more important to be committed to defending our God-given right to keep and bear arms.
Too many politicians give public lip service to the Second Amendment but then turn around and vote to restrict gun ownership.
The second amendment is very clear. The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. As Senator, I will always defend that right.
